The workshop, was in the Astro-Turk Tobacco Building within the frame of PORT İzmir’s concept; “It’s enough!”; with the support of K2 Güncel Sanat Merkezi. Students from different disciplines were attendant: urban planning, animation, architecture, industrial design, film design. Animation Designer Zeynep Akcay was the workshop’s executive and it was a pleasure to work with her and watch her working as well. After one day long of brainstorming, scriptwriting and storyboarding, we filmed our stop-motion movie in two days. The recycled materials were used as costumes and setting, and the building itself became an element for the movie too.
